1.3GHz.
This is less than my 7 year old computer. That computer, with a graphics card, which mobile devices DO NOT HAVE, could barely run blockland.

Like I said. It's not going to happen.

Have you seen Razer's new gaming tablet?

iOS

Also the Razer thing is more like a laptop without the keyboard. So it's fair to say it's not a handheld. It's a tablet PC.

I swear, You people act like mobile technology is still stuff. You should see some of the games out there now for iOS. And even then. The game would need to be toned down for a mobile device. It wouldn't be the same.

It's not. It's outstanding for what we had years ago. But it's still crap compared to things like PC's and stuff. Give it a few more years.

Blockland only requires 800 mhz to run

Blockland only requires 800 mhz to run

It's true. I've played Blockland on a 700mhz PC.

I don't see the point in making it for ios tablet though when we can play it on surface tablets.

Surface sucks. And plus. That's like saying "you want blockland for iPad? Too bad, Buy a new $500 tablet."

Surface sucks.
Elaborate. What makes other tablets better than it?

I actually have an iPad 2. And why does surface suck?

You guys are still forgetting that a mobile CPU is not as strong as a desktop CPU.

We have, Phone CPU's, Mobile(Laptop) CPU's, Desktop CPU's.

Here's what I'm trying to say.
Take a generic quad core for all 3 platforms. Phone, Mobile, Desktop. Same specs for the CPU and everything.

No matter what, the Mobile CPU will always be superior to the Phone CPU just as the Desktop CPU will always be superior to the Mobile CPU. Same with the GPU's. Unless I'm proven wrong by a benchmark (I really want to see one because it's interesting.)

You are probably right but have you seen nova 3 on the iPad 2? I doubt you could get those graphics on a 1 GHz desktop. Isn't the processor power also about transistors and stuff too?

I wish I could find Lugnut's quote from one of my past topics. He explained it very clearly. I'll try to find it.

Still. That's like telling people with a iPad to buy a Surface for $500 just to play an app.

I actually don't own a surface tablet. Also why do you think the surface tablet sucks?

it cannot be done.

If you can't run the game well on your current desktop computer, you will not be able to run it at ALL on a mobile device.

Simple as that. Mobile devices simply do not have the processing and display power to run the game.
It can be done.

Granted, shaders would have to be disabled and the game would suck if you weren't on wifi, but it can definitely be done. Blockland without any fancy effects is written in a game engine that was designed for a 2001 game. Phones are faster than 2001 computers now, so it would definitely have the processing power. That said, the game would have to undergo many changes, making it no where near a priority for Badspot.
