Author Topic: Build Cycle (it cycles minigames, too!)  (Read 11357 times)

Do you have a system where when a certain team wins it will switch to a chosen map?

ex:
map1, if team 1 wins goto map2, if team 2 wins goto map3

I have been typing /buildcycle add snoball_fite SnoDM and it hasn't worked yet

wtf help

it just tells me about the format

I got the GUI up and the saves list only shows default saves, and i have no idea how to get other builds in.

Well, look at what the format is. You're typing /buildcycle add snoball_fite SnoDM. You need to have a ; between the save name and the minigame config name, so it would probably look like /buildcycle add snoball_fite; SnoDM

Yes I'm sorry about that, the GUI is slightly broken.

Updates to this are currently being held up by a Slayer update.

I'm following exactly what you said, and i'm even copy-pasting it, and it's still giving me the info about the format.

Apparently it can't find one of the files then. You should read the OP, under the heading "MINIGAME CONFIG FILES".

I'll do this for you.

Brotatoe, i'm telling you, you downloaded it wrong.

I'm using the proper version of slayer [3.7] and trying to use the buildcycle add command.

The minigame config was saved and the buildfile saved, but the format isn't working, and it's not finding the files because I keep getting the instructions repeated in chat.(I saved the bricks as Test and the minigame config file from advanced options as test and did /buildcycle add test; test)

The save file I want to use doesnt show up in the gui [only default saves do], and no minigame config files show up in the gui (they now show up after server restart, but non-default saves in the same folder don't.  /buildcycle add format still not working)

Also, the command /buildcycle doesnt let me change settings instead it shows this:

BUILDCYCLE:

Blonde moment.  I'm using RTB hosting which explains why it's not finding my save file.  Lmao.

Well at least you got it working

Greek, you just keep stuffting out beauty don't you?

I'd like to suggest voting for server rotations, you vote for the next round while the current one is just starting.  Could be similar to a city RP bank brick trigger where you get options one through x and you just type in the number for the corresponding cycle you want to play next round.

EDIT:

Also there's some bugs I found:

1. The "Go to" option will always go to the first cycle no matter which one you pick.
2. Individual minigame settings for rounds per cycle applies for all cycles, and updates it in the menu that way.
3. The "Load bricks as" settings displays the number of rounds per cycle for that minigame instead of "host, public, etc"

Nevermind.
