It's meant to help prevent what they predict the most common flu strain will be this season. It's not perfect but there's no way to make it perfect.

I got mine at a grocery store pharmacy. They use different needles and syringes than my doctor and these ones didnt really hurt, infact I barely felt it. Btw I kinda have a thing with needles.
