I remember that before i made my account or made my first post i used to use the search function a lot, and as we know, the search function is pretty terrible. Lots of these people probably used the search function and just ended up in dead topics, all without ever actually checking any of the subsections.

the only reason they do this is to be able to synchronize your tabs across all your devices
imo that's one of the most useful features ever

(and also to anonymously enhance the web coverage of their search engine)

I used to come here for addons and view random stuff that caught my eye when I  searched. I also remember sometimes I would go to the last page of addons just to see what kind of old stuff was there, spoiler alert:it was pandan's halo rifle.
