Author Topic: [GLBD App] Post-Apoc Winter Campsite  (Read 3727 times)

Here is a small campsite I made in my spare time.

I was aiming for it to feel like a small tent with a tower built on an elevated but steep rock with barriers under construction below.

It features a working fire & ladder, a built-in room into the terrain, and other details.

Enjoy.

(This is also an application build for entrance into the {GLBD})

Positive criticism accepted.

It looks decent, although I think it could use some more terrain. I think you did well though.

Thanks. I was considering making something a little bigger, with not-so-generic-looking terrain.

Thanks again! :)

looks pretty low effort
whats the brickcount?

It doesn't look like a lot of time was put into it, although what you do have is fairly decent.
You seem to be pretty good at terrain however the small size of the app doesn't show off enough of that talent imo.
I can't vote, but if I could it would be a no and an invitation to expand on the app some more for a possible yes later on.

You took the words right out of my mouth.

How many bricks is the build?

Also, some things I noticed, the magnum seems out of place where it is. Id love to see the rest of it if it is decided to be expanded!

Yes, the magnum is out of place. I need to fix that.

The brickcount is 755 exactly. I apologize for not listing that in the first place.

This was a little low effort. I kinda used this template to show off Blockland to new people. (AKA planted some seeds [nohomo] )

Thanks for the compliments. I will plan and figure out how to expand it to apply for a vote. ;)

I like it.  If it was expanded, it would include more of the quality stuff already in it.  Applications do not need to be huge, and he does take the minimum brick count into consideration.

I like the atmosphere of the build.  It seems picturesque, which is nice.

Some of the terrain in the fifth picture looks rushed, and it would have been nice to see your ability to build trees instead of using premade.  But I do realize there is a time and a place for single .bls trees.

It's close, but for this application I'm going to vote yes.

Thanks. Again, I am planning on making this larger, with a more bigger interactive layout.

Or maybe a actual survivor-looking fort...

Luv you. N' I love it.

<3 u too

(Thanks)

YOUR BRICKS.

THEY ARE SO SHINY
HOW

oh btw good job

I feel like I'd want to see a bit more before I make a decision. This is really great though. Maybe you can 1 or 2 more tents and expand the build, as to make it a sort of "Base camp" for hikers, if you really wanted to/ a snowy thing asdf you know what I mean stuff build.

I'll give you the final decision:

Everyone seemed to want a little bit more, so that is where we will leave it at.  If you can whip up  a little more, then update the topic, we will be able to make a final decision.

Thank you!
