Author Topic: Vipre Firewall Blocks Blockland Connection  (Read 1671 times)

I just downloaded my Vipre Internet Security to my laptop.

When I went to run Blockland, I got a Fatal-ISV saying that the URL in the manifest was missing. Well, I found the URL and allowed it.

But, it blocks the key validation and server list functions from going through. Strangely enough though, my RTB interface can connect and run just fine.

Is there an operation or something I can allow to fix this?

Try seeing if the firewall allows exceptions by program, and then add Blockland to the exception list.

Blockland's process is Blockland.exe, correct?

If so, yes, I've already went in and allowed the process. I did this before posting this topic.

New Info: I just disabled my web filter and now it can connect just fine.

So now all we're looking for here is an internet URL.

Anybody know what it is?

Make sure you set it Blockland.exe in ur documents, make a program and then also traffic rule.

http://auth.blockland.us/

This fixed it.

Thank you!

Darnit. Forgot to place a line separating my reply.

pecon's link fixed my issue. Thanks again.

I already did what you stated, Altiris.

But thanks anyway.
