Why do people always follow badspot when hes in a server?

I watch a video of like 30 people following badspot and spamming the chat.. Whats the big deal? hes just a person. yeah he created blockland so what? hes just a normal person.

Well I mean its not everyday Badspot will be in a server, maybe some just want to take a screenshot next to him, I know I would just for the fun of it.

Its the same with people and celebrities irl. (although im not that crazy)

i certainly wouldn't completely call him "a normal person", because he's a respected member of the community that he created himself (for obvious reasons)

but i also don't understand what people hope to achieve with following him everywhere. it's like people think it will make them be noticeable, but in reality you're just even more invisible than before.

Hes the creator of the game. I still think its dumb they follow him around like they are dogs and hes a steak.

Like two or three days ago, I can't think right now, he joined Glass' Fort Wars server. I didn't notice, so all I saw was the chat being spammed with kiss-ass remarks without even knowing what was going on.

Sure in real life he's a normal person like us, but in this community he is the creator and deserves more respect.

I wouldn't follow him around but if I stumble upon him I will take a screenie just for memories sake.

i think one time i was on badspot's server when he was on and he would keep teleporting to some random house on the server and everyone ran around trying to find him

They follow him, and then go on servers and brag saying they met Badspot.
They do it for bragging rights that really don't matter cause at least 70% of Blocklanders have seen him.
In my opinion, and past experience w/ players.

Because they seek fame, but they lack the will to earn it and think by, some miracle, being near a 'famous' person will, in turn, give them the fame they so desperately desire.     A fool's hope, but they still try.
