I play on a medieval toaster and do just fine.

YEah I have been on the server using a 4 year old laptop with a stuffty graphics card and processor. They did  a good job cleaning up all the spam. I can see the whole city with maximum draw distance with little lag. I can't even get that looking at a spaceship.

I lag more on Barn's than this.

I would guess it's the excessive use of bricks. A lot of small bricks in a small amount of space.

The lag on my server is because of the lot of brick faces and the terribly under-optimised structures. I'm sure my toaster could handle this save better too.
