I have the S3 as well as a bunch of my friends. It's absolutely amazing, I haven't actually heard someone dislike it other than the size (which isn't a problem for most ppl).

Jellybean. The S3's specs and screen are way superior. +Android. I won't lie, Iphones are well made too but I'm an Android guy.

It's Android, you can do whatever you want. Yes, you can run Chrome (it's what I use on my S3).
