Without an argument, suggest games for me.

I think:

Majora's Mask,
New Super Mario Bros & Super Mario 64,
Mariokart
pilotwings if i get a 3ds
Pokémon - that much I know.
If you have played Super Mario World you shouldn't play the "New super mario bros" games.

Every game was different from another.
In terms of gameplay, items, and story

No everything is basically the same. Same plot, similar items, dungeon maze layouts.

Really, Majora's Mask is only different not only because of the time skipping stuff but you have to backtrack almost with everything and get to a certain event by a specific time.

You can't do anything you want.
The story is you want to catch all the pokemon.
All the cities are not memorable
oh I can't get passed this shrub, GOT TO GO FIND ANOTHER WAY!
etc
>COD
>Can't pass this shrub! Got to go shoot some communists to find another way!
>Ten minutes later
>Can't pass this shrub! Got to pay $750!
>Ten minutes later
>stuff, can't pass this shrub! Got to go shoot some communists to find another way!

>COD
>Can't pass this shrub! Got to go shoot some communists to find another way!

>Ten minutes later
>stuff, can't pass this shrub! Got to go shoot some communists to find another way!
>stuff, can't pass this shrub!
>Better go shoot a bunch of civilians at an airport and commit horrible warcrimes to make this game look more badass

God no.

1. Doesn't seem like you pay attention to the plot of any LoZ game. Just because you save the princess doesn't mean everything else is the same. Tell me how Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess are anything like each other in terms of plot.

2. Some games use the same items, I'll give you this. But it's mostly the items that make sense (bomb, bow, shields, clawshot). Each game has a level of variety when it comes to new items

3. Dungeon layouts are physically impossible to be identical. This doesn't make any sense.

To quote someone else.

Quote
Is anyone else sick of Nintendo making the same games over and over again. It's so predictable. It was obvious that Zelda, mario and mario kart would come to the WiiU. It's all mario this and mario that. What's worse is that they are prob ages away.

I want to be surprised like Nintendo did with pikmin on the GameCube. Nintendo seem to be living off the success they had before the Wii. Pikmin was prob Nintendo's last great new ip.

Nintendo I'm waiting for you to blow my mind. I know you can do it but so far you are failing.

I don't play Call of Duty so I don't know what you are talking about but if Zelda, Mario, or pokemon are about as generic as COD is now then something is wrong. If you're comparing how COD and Zelda keep making games that play exactly the same as the prequel then SOMETHING IS VERY VERY WRONG.

I'd like to contradict your statement on how Super Mario Galaxy is worse than Mario 64.

Mario 64's story elements are extremely basic, its the many times known save the princess story with nothing else to it. "collect stars to open doors, forget logic". In my opinion Super mario Galaxy is better. It has more advanced story elements and generally more fun gameplay. Unless you missed it, let me tell it to you: Some star festival happens, Bowser is using the power of the stars to power his doomsday device, he kidnaps the princess and Mario is left on a space station with some other princess and mario collects powerstars to power their station to get closer to Bowser.

God no.

1. Just because you run and shoot doesn't mean each COD game is the same. Tell me how each COD game are the same in terms of the plot?

2. I mean sure some COD games may use the same items but some of them are new and never before seen but it's mostly items like (grenade, knifes, shields, handguns) Each COD game has a level of variety when it comes to new items.

3. predictability is what I meant.

4. You can't really pull this card at all. COD has your logic beat.

How about that. Earlier you say that it is all the same, but then you defend a notorious series known for only adding more and more weapons and some short stuffty campaign to it.

Oh, and did i forget to mention a new game every year?

Nope, just making it sound like Zelda is the new COD. Which it is.

After all you guys are comparing how generic COD is when you don't see how generic Zelda can be.

The only CoD game I have is Black Ops II and I don't find it generic.
Mainly because I didn't play the series.

It's also impossible for Zelda games to play like the last unless:
1. They're on the same console (in this case, that isn't true because the latest game will refine the other game's battle system. Look at TLP and Skyward Sword.)
2.They are sequels, which makes sense, really.

4. You can't really pull this card at all. COD has your logic beat.
1. Just because you don't smash pots make a Zelda Game the same. Just going off of what you said earlier. I don't find CoD generic.

2. Maybe I said that because those are the only items that are returning features in a Zelda game. Try again.

3. Name how it's predictable.

4. Again, it was in reply to your ignorant comment

Run around, attack shrubs for money, go to at least 6-8 temples and then final boss time. That sums up basically every Zelda game in existence.
This, right here, is the only thing that made me bring up CoD. Not because it's generic, but because you can literally apply this to any game in existance.

Can't put any sense into a Nintendo fan. Let me know when Nintendo starts making new IPs instead of something like Zelda Kart Racing. That does not count as a new IP.

Can't put any sense into some idiot like yourself.

But I won't attack anything you enjoy because I don't dislike it myself.

Tell me when you play like 2 Zelda games. And pick up Black Ops while you're at it, lol.

Its funny because this guy is on the idiot side and doesn't realize it. I'm not a complete fanatic. I always look at things objectively and see if they're any good. If you show me something that isn't from Nintendo, i won't instantly go and say "Oh boy, this sucks!". Ever since I've played Minecraft i realized that i hesitate to jump into conclusions im not going to be able to play any game. Although minecraft as an example is a bad choice, since i hate that game today for reasons unrelated to game (course of  development, features that were never added but promised, glitchy full version release... etc)
