Author Topic: I want to drop out.  (Read 1861 times)

I would suggest online education for you, or maybe if possible transferring to another school, because that is a pretty horrible situation.
Maybe use VLACS or something.

Just don't drop out, it will ruin your future.
Not to say it would be a 100% chance but its a big chance you wont be able to get a job without a degree or anything
If I do drop out, I plan to study for a GED test so I can, I guess, prove I have a high school education?

Have you talked to your parents about this?
Yes, they support my thoughts of dropping out, even though they weren't drop outs. (my mom had to be held back a grade though because she was pregnant)

After researching, Online School could be a possibility for me. I might be able to do online schooling.

And what grade are you in?

I have 1 thing to say, don't do online school. My cousin did it before and then he started to miss going to his regular school to see his friends. He felt like a loner.

And what grade are you in?
I'm guessing 9th or 10th considering he's 15.

I am in tenth grade.

Or Sophmore, if you want to call it that.

homeschooling blows. harder to get real oppurtunites in the future. stop being a baby op

stop being a baby op

I bet you did not even read the whole OP.

My teachers, and even my counselor, seriously have a huge grudge against me for no apparent reason.

School should not require this kind of hatred and rudeness. I should take some legal action against the school and see how they look at me now.

If your parents aren't stuff-cunts they should understand and try to help you.

When I was fifteen I wanted to drop out of school because I hated my teachers and administration.

Things got better.

Chris, if you feel like it's just impossible to go through 2 more grades, than go the way of online schooling. If your teachers can't teach you, than yeah. Definitely go to online schooling.

Transfer to a different school?

Ugh. That sounds horrible.
It is

:cookie: for you.

I remember I did algebra online. "work on your own pace" was bullstuff considering the teacher rushed me to finish by a certain date or I wouldn't get any credit.
