Well whenever i try to access my options in the 192.168.1.1 log in, I enter my username and password and press lo gin nothing happens. I'm using a Netgear router but the 192.168.1.1 goes to a Verizon site. Somebody please help...

Yes it wont let me log in. Also i just tried with browsers like chrome and firefox and the weirdest thing happens. I type a letter and it types it like five times wth is going on .-.

Neither of them have a verizon account and lol they know port forwarding is safe.

Maybe you're using the wrong IP address.  I've had issues with that before.  The default for netgear is 192.168.0.1

But if you want to check you can open up command prompt, and type in ipconfig.  The Local Area Connection default gateway is the one you want to use.
