Author Topic: I've been having insomnia for the past week now.  (Read 4149 times)

Well all week, I have not been able to sleep at all (maybe like falling asleep for like 10 minutes 3 times suring the night). And when I do fall asleep, it's that hypnotic jolt that happens, it won't stop. I am exhausted and don't know what to do, melatonin doesn't help. Should I call the doctor?

Elecro, I hate to tell you this. You're possessed by mocheeze' spirit.

No, have you tried NyQuil?

Are you sure you know what NyQuil is?

Yeah call your doctor. If you can't rest you will get bigger problems.

Are you sure you know what NyQuil is?
it's a thing that makes you sleep

it's a thing that makes you sleep

NyQuil is a cold medicine.

Are you sure you know what NyQuil is?

It keeps me asleep. and my whole family. But if you're not sick, it's probably not best to take it.

But, if this has been happening this long, then yeah, call your doctor.

Seriously dude. You could die if this goes on. Call a doctor.

I sometimes hate having almost all my dad's traits.

I would call right now. If you haven't been able to get any rest for one week that's a serious problem.

You're a loving hypochondriac, every time something minor about your 'humanely' behavior is disrupted you immediately think that you're dying of some random disease.

One, stress causes the inability to sleep, have you been stressed lately?
Two, you're probably playing a mind game with yourself and have yourself believing that you cannot sleep, when you can.

I've had some insomnia as well, but mine went away on its own; it won't be that way for everyone.
What mainly worked for me is lying in bed reading for about an hour before I try to sleep. I don't have to do that anymore, but it really really helped.

If you don't sleep for 1 week you're on the road to death.

Oh and try to just exercise your brain instead of actively trying to fall asleep.
