slow "reaction" time

how come in my server when i press enter to plant a brick it takes like 2 or 3 seconds b4 it actually plants? is it because of too many bricks?

Brick planting, ghost brick movement, all of that is server sided.
Laggy server = laggy brick placement.

That simple.
