I know i;m extremely harsh, and I plan nothing either, I'm just saying certain things(entry to cave-level in temple) appear to have been after thoughts that recieved no detail.

I know larger bricks and smaller bricks don't LOOK the same, but in the temple build the walls, which I took to be stone, appears to me made up of 2x2x5s or something, stacked, not interlocked, etc. Usually my own build style pays obsessive attention to architectural legitimacy, which probably biased me a bit against certain things. On the other hand, in the Coffee shop the angled paneling appears to have been made out of 2x1 slopes, where, as far as I can tell, bricks could have at least been SAVED by using a larger brick, or a pattern involving (a) larger brick(s).

I'm also coming from the DM building background as well, and that explains some of my reasons for hating on the little bricks.

I find it kinda funny (I find it kinda sad, lol (it's a reference)) that you submit pictures of builds for review, and then complain like a bitch when the 'review board' doesn't like them. Maybe the goal of USSR building is to find the perfect balance between detail and simplicity. Detail should not be your primary goal. Efficiency and usability are very good goals too. Personally, I think you should use more color.

Anyway, back to my point, if someone turns your build down, you don't go ape stuff on them. You either:

A. Go away.
B. Take the criticism and try again.

agreed. What the people say is kinda what you sign up for when you post a build. Espically a build like a ussr app.

I have the right to say what I please, and trader you wouldn't like it if someone talked bad about your scripting, and I've read some of the post you did and someone complaining, such as ephilates. And it's the fact that, thats all he said was negavitity, I wouldn't of said anything if he agreed with a build or disagreed in the same post, as you see that I apologized (I didn't but I am) and told him to disreguard that post.

I agree with Anti-Cop. I also think those builds look too "regular", and therefore unnatural. For example, the rocks look too smooth, the paths are just repeats, and the arches look boring. I also think there are too many slopes and I get the feeling that you're addicted to brown. I also find it disappointing that you flame when you're criticized.

Lavish, I'm not suggesting that people should never be upset over criticism. But, in any instance, I never once asked for someone to review my code and tell me what they think. I've released add-ons, and have made modified them based on user likes and dislikes. However, I've never sent an add-on to a review board for approval, which is what you're doing here. Also, I'm all about free speech, but when you are ASKING for the critique, take it and shut your mouth. Lol, seriously, option A or option B. Those are your choices.

Ronin I've been wanting to be in ussr since I heard about it, and I don't feel like repeating myself. I just like people saying positive stuff, it's just me, and trader you are a braggin little prick who doesn't know when to shut his mouth. Also, I've been trying to fix my problem on all of this critizing and getting me mad over it, but really I should just build, post let it be said and done.
