I think you've seen how people want to make new avatar parts in Blockland and I was wondering, if you could tell us how to do that. I thought since you made the game, you could tell us how to make new heads, bodies, ect. I mean, if it takes a really long time to explain, no need to tell us.

All avatar Clothing is built onto the player model itself, you can however make custom clothing but its very hard to do unless you have the right scripts, but it'll turn out that you'll have to put them on as items in-game.

Hmmm. Ok. I mean how to actually make a choose-able clothing piece from the avatar menu.

THat would most likely mean editing some of the original game files.

that would be copyright infringement, correct me if i'm wrong

Yeah possible, but Badspot doesn't like it any way (MLD's Rearview Mirror add-on).

EEK!
Don't want that to happen.

You mean like the shoulder pads, hats, capes, etc?

Hmm. Mabye you could just edit one of the ones you dont like with milkshape or something

You know, I bet you can make a kind of trap that mounts a model to the shoulder or wherever you want it to mount. I could see that working, Rky has something like it going.

But, it's only for his server. It doesn't work anywhere else.

The method RTB used is to mount a "weapon" with no fire states (stateName[0] = "Activate" etc) to a free slot ($BackSlot works, $HeadSlot is where Emotes are mounted) with a custom model.

You could use an edited player model placed in the Add-Ons/Shapes folder, and redefine the mDTS TSShapeConstructor to directly add them to the model but they wouldn't be selectable (or need GUI edits) and most likely be copyright infringement if released or hosted.

All things aside, I don't think we want people with no decent modeling abilities whatsoever making avatars, not to mention they will probably bring back some RTB models, which will turn this game into complete suckage.

i want to see a round space helmet like in rtb though

Blockland=Blocky not round.
