is there any console command to tell you what the key your using is? cause i want to try everything to get my old key cause i forgot the email adress i bought it with and i dont want to have to buy another one

umm what you can do is 1. try every e-mail you have and see what happends or 2. get support,thats about all i can say.

Save your key.dat file and never lose it.

That, and write it down in various places where only you know where they are.

Just in case the back-up of key.dat fails you

can key.dat tell me what my key is? if so, how the hell do i read it

It's encrypted, you can't read it.

If it helps, put

Code: [Select]
echo(getKeyID());

It outputs the first 5 characters of your key.

hmm Key.dat encrypted because friend COULD read it if it was not and steal BL so only BL could read the key.dat

1) if i do that console command and tell badspot the first 4 characters of my id can he tell me the rest of it
and 2) what would happen if i copyed the key.dat off my other pc that has full version onto my pc that dosn't ?

1) I don't know, if you can prove it's you that bought it, you might not even need to do that.
2) It would work.

so if i copyed my other key.dat file to this pc would i have that key on this computer?
