This thread was once in off-topic. As a number of people decided it would be funny to mock my first real attempt at pixel art. Do bear in mind that this is my first real attempt at pixel art so constructive criticism and encouragement will be gratefully accepted.

You know, you're just sad over the fact that Charles rated it 1/5 instead of 5/5, so you locked that topic and made a new one to avoid stuff people said about you.

 Just because its your first pixel art doesn't mean it's an exception to make people pity you and rate it something higher.

Oh and it could just some transparent fixes some places.

Thank you and I will. I copied the original (my first avatar) and made it transparent, scaled down the canvas so it fits the size allowed for avatars and replaced the colour scheme.

Its just that when I copied it in, the canvas was already 800x600.

...if you'll get hurt from negative feedback, then don't share it with other people unless they're close friends.

For an avatar, I don't think that you should even slightly get offended.  It's such a simple little thing.

When I started writing stories, I gave them out to some friends online to read.  A few gave me paragraphs of things that I was doing wrong.  I never once got irritated that they "Didn't find it perfect for a first try".

i think you took charles way too seriously.
by stating straight off "rate 1/5" (which you really shouldn't put yourself down like that just because it's your first try), of course someone would take it literally without actually meaning it.
then you get all mad at him, so he pretends like he truly meant it. and you believed it the whole time.

more on topic, i actually recognized your avatar from seeing you post before, but was confused when i noticed the lack of images in the op. it was then i realized you were actually using the avatar you made, and i had to look closely before figuring out it was a pixel art remake of your old one. well done, if you ask me.
