In school we were taught to not give a stuff about the armenians, the native americans, the kurds, the gypsies, gays, the deformed, non-aryans, and handicapped; but then all the sudden jews are getting slaughtered and we have to to feel bad for them and watch hundreds of movies and documentaries. forget the jews, they had their time for pity; how about those poor palestinians that lost their homes to those jews. What about the sami people that have their reindeer fields used for nato wargames? Nope, we'll just watch Schindlers list for the hundreth time while more modern day issues occur. I'll pitty so called jews that that are getting slaughtered today, but those old timers on the east coast still crying about Riddler can go forget themselves.
Back on topic. It's a shame those kids were murdered by a sick man who showed no signs of being insane and decides to kill a bunch of kids and then take his own life. Some of those kids could have grown up to be the one that cures cancer or do something great.
Thank you for bringing up the fact that the holocaust is not the first genocide and is not the last genocide. So many people are always going on about "oh my god all the jews died!" yeah well people die every loving day. Some by natural cause, some by war, some by disease, some indirectly by poverty, the list goes on and on.
This is why I don't really give special attention to certain things like this. It's more of a "ok let's add this to the list of why humanity can never have nice things" attitude.
