The B-1 Lancer and F-22 Raptor are mistakes from the military, seriously.
They costed way too much, The B-1 was essentially a showoff thing for opposing forces and literally didn't do much. The F-22 was almost immediately replaced by the F-35 because of the Raptor's cost and it's many, many problems including it's awful oxygen system and fuel usage.
Quepir is in the right lane here. The F-15 Eagle and F-16 Falcon are probably not going to go out of production and usage until about 2050, because they're excellent multirole fighters. In fact, the F-15 Eagle was the first ever aircraft to motherloving shoot down a satellite from the edge of space.
