Click on Privacy Settings

Modify to your likings.

Go to your profile, Click on the 'Friends' square.

Click Edit, a menu will come up. Then click 'only me' or 'friends'

You can modify A lot of options on your timeline and make things hidden from the public and friends.

Should probably say that if anyone joins and doesn't want people look at their stuff and whatnot, they should probably change their privacy settings, and not accept friend requests from other group members, unless you want to.
