Apparently, the guy who is holding him hostage was just thanked by the cops for taking care of the boy instead of brutally molesting or raping him.

That's like saying, 'You're gonna die, but at least you don't have cancer.'

Yesterday, authorities found out Dykes had a gun, and they sent an officer down in the bunker. Dykes is dead, and the boy is now recovering in a hospital, and they say he's okay.
