About once every five minuets this ad thing pops up. Is there any way to stop this. I dont have anything open that would generate ads

it's either a virus or some stuffty addon/extension you downloaded. do a clean sweep of everything you currently have.

Maybe your ISP is injecting stuff into your HTTP responses? /overkill

What?
Go to the three bars in the top right corner, go to tools, then extensions, then turn off stuff that's called like "AdSuperPro" and stuff.
Keep stuff like AdBlock and Google Translate.
