Author Topic: Why do all stuffty servers get lots of players  (Read 2390 times)

i left my server (my three admins remaining there) for about an hour one day.
when i came back the server was 17/20 players because they had constructed a Laser Glow DM which was just everyone with beam rifles in a super dark room with fog.
and various blocks placed about but i hardly remember.
that sounds like it would be really fun if it was done right

We need to bring back dogfight servers

We need to bring back dogfight servers

Fun fact- A dog fight server was the first type of server I joined.
/support

any server that has things built already will be popular.
the average blocklander cant spend more then 5 minutes being creative lol

Why doesn't anyone use the lego weapon pack with the lightsabers and stuff?

dayb is awesome stfu noob
I meant that in a good way :,c
Rude.

Popular servers are like popular music.
they only need people to support them to be popular, no matter how badly they suck.

Appealing to the lowest common denominator will result in popularity, e.g. Call of Duty.

If I were able to host, I would host some fun servers. (Space Block Party, CTF, dogfight)

um no

"something old =/= something bad" and "wait until dayb becomes public", it can only mean zombies will become a piece of stuff once dayb's out

stuffty people like stuffty servers.

Most of the Blockland community is stuffty.

Do the math.

just make a list of "neglected super cool servers".

it's because it's fun, easy entertainment.
It may be fun for the non-forumgoers but not fun for the forumgoers, that's why we might call it stuffty.
