A controller doesn't have enough keys for blockland.

A controller doesn't have enough keys for blockland.
It's not meant for typing

It's not meant for typing

edit nvm, didn't read, lol

But A could be jump and B crouch

...duh.
but it still doesn't have enough functions.
Uhhhh no?  Wasd/arrow keys = a control stick, shoot = regular FPS shooting durr (right trigger), place brick right bumper left bumper or  left trigger. brick movement = D-pad jump = A Crouch = B still it don't see  why there isn't nuff keys.

What do you mean? I think that could end up being a more convenient way of playing

A: Jump/Select menu option
B: Use spray can/Go back on menu
X: Activate/Attack/Spray
Y: Inventory
Left Stick: Move
Right Stick: Move camera
D-Pad: Shift brick/Navigate Menu/Choose spray colour
Left Bumper: Move brick down 1/3
Right Bumper: Move brick up 1/3
Left Trigger: Crouch
Right Trigger: Jet
Left Stick (Pressed): Brick Menu
Right Stick (Pressed): Place Brick
Start: Open escape menu
Back: Delete ghost brick

Also, why do you have 2 buttons used for placing blocks?

What.

He's implying that everyone in this thread is saying it's impossible unless the controller has that chat pad.

My Idea for layout NOTE: My layout is more for playing a game and less on building.

A: Jump
B: Crouch (toggle/hold not sure yet maybe so it'll be easier for controllers)
X: Reload Weapons, Hold X to drop weapon
Y: Swapping items/weapons in the Tools list
Right Trigger: Shoot
Left Trigger: Plant a brick
Right And left bumper: Used to move left and right in in the brick inventory and left and right in the paint inventory.
D-Pad: Up is to access brick inventory, Left is to access tools, and Right is to access the Paint
Left Stick: Player movement
Right stick: aim movement and up/down in the Paint section.
