Recently I made a Cel Shader for Blockland.
It's kinda cool, so I decided to take some photos.

I'll post some more later.

Looks really hard to play with.
Will you ever release the cell shading mod?

Uh
Actually it was pretty cool to place the JailRP with it. The only thing that bothers me is this weird bug when looking right at the ground...
... you get a lot of circles.

anyway

oh and
the bug

(warning): contains circles.

Needs thick black outlines around everything.

Needs thick black outlines around everything.
This would really take the cake on this deal.

I was actually gonna post about "black lines" but that ISN'T part of cell shading. That is another stylization entirely.
It just accentuates the shading better.

This is literally cell shading.

Seems to just be an issue with map flooring.
Id love to fool around with this myself.

Looks like the fog catching up to me. Or specular brightness.

Looks like a nice start, more pics please?
is this client or server sided?

It is obviously client-sided.
But it needs to make a black outline around stuff to make it look really cool.

I wasnt sure because I remember manty's textures were server sided?

Yes, this is the style that "The Wind Waker" uses in game.

However, the game that pioneered cell shading was Jet Set Radio, and that game had thick black outlines around every single thing in the game.

So really, cell shading by definition is what was in Jet Set Radio.

And I think that kind of shading style would work well with blockland.
