Author Topic: So, All My stuff Is Getting "Hacked"  (Read 2108 times)

/title

Someone has already been on my youtube account, and attempted to gain access to my gmail. I don't recall going anywhere fishy or downloading some stupid suspicious stuff.
Also, being the idiot I am all my passwords are the same, so it's probably only a matter of time until this person figures that out. Also:

Yeah, I have no idea what's going on.

maybe change your passwords now?

Well, I just lost my Gmail account I was about to change my password, everything else is good.
I'm forgeted.

Riiight, forgot about that, thanks.
Freaking Malaysians.

Same thing happened to me but the IP was from Florida.

I think it has to do with checking my email while I was in the Bahamas.

Malaysia

Yep you're forgeted.
That's reassuring, thanks.

I'm more worried about anything else they might be getting into. I've changed the password for all my accounts, I'm wondering if they're digging into some old account for personal information.

Everyone should seriously be using things like

XWBUBUu5wHUWhb6^8eRn676Zw67MP^EK2^%D$7qpyjQJU35Y83

for their passwords. I used to use the same password for everything, but once I realized how dumb that was, I went around and changed my passwords to the longest string of gibberish a site would allow.

Just to give you an idea:

It stores all of your passwords behind a master password that only you know. The only way somebody can crack your master password is if they break into your house and find the piece of paper you wrote it on.

Wouldn't it just be easier to use your network key as your password? It's easy to remember and it would take about 6 years to crack mine.
