I'm trying to connect my Xbox 360 to my internet wirelessly, and it shows up that the Xbox detects the network, but when I put the password in, it doesn't connect.

Try restarting the Xbox and make sure you got the password right?

It accepts the password and says I have access so I think I got it right. And I have restarted multiple times.

Not yet. Would one of the problems be the fact that there are about 3 or 4 walls in between my xbox and the router?

The thing is, we aren't able to change it. Neither of us know how. And it's mum, not mom. Atleast for me it is.

So all your other devices connected works?
If so, make sure all your settings on you're Xbox are correct, and see if possibly Xbox's networks are down.
