petition to change the name from usb dongle to usb dingledoodledangle

do flash drives transfer internet? no.
I agree that USB Dongle is a really stupid name
But calling them Flash Drives would just be confusing because it doesn't really work like a flash drive.
Yes, but for the sake of understanding just call it a wireless adapter. No one think dongle is a good name.

But then again, I'm probably one of the few people here who doesn't immediately think "LOL richardS SO FUNY" when he hears dongle, when I hear dongle I imagine one of those phone charm things.

your speed is most likely 54Mbps to your AP or 2G/3G/4G/whatever to your cellular tower
