Author Topic: Has anyone gotten this screen tearing with blockland?  (Read 882 times)

If I open Blockland, and then open a folder and move it so the files intersect the edge of the bl screen, and scroll up/down quickly, I can see vertical tearing. Has anyone gotten this before? My GTX 660 has inconsistent vertical tears, and I'm trying to figure out how to stop it.

try playing with your monitor refresh rate

its not gameplay, the bl program doesnt tear itself. im wondering how my screen is tearing so much at the line that splits another program in half, the first half overlapping inside the bl window, and the second half not overlapping.

Is this with other games or just Blockland? Maybe your card is messed up or something. Try upgrading to the BETA drivers on geforce.com, they work really well.

Could you take a picture with a camera or something?

I can't take a screenshot, but I can edit one to show kinda what it looks like:

Right on the edge of the BL window. It happens with everything. Firefox/Paint.NET/Folders, roblox studio, xfire, etc.
If I have firefox maximized, and BL in the center of the page, when I change to a tab with a different colored background, that rectangle on the tab will load .1 seconds faster than the border, so it looks like a rectangle was put in the background, for that fraction of a second, on the new tab.

I have the same card, but for me it doesn't do this. It might be your graphics drivers or something.

I updated the driver a few days ago.

don't put things in front of the Blockland window? for me it does this if I have any game windowed in the background. if I put Blockland behind YouTube then I will see this, to avoid this I simply just close Blockland before doing other things
