Internet Problem Driving Me Crazy

Ok, so i have mentioned this before and i'm going to mention it again.

I will be browsing the internet and posting things and my connection will just loving stop.

For no reason.

When i listen to winamp and browse the internet this happens more often.

When someone in my house pauses a video or a download, it just loving cuts out.

When i pause or unpause a video IT JUST loving GOES DOWN

It just went out 3 times while writing this!

It's not our ISP, i do not have a virus, and i have tried everything.

Can i please just get some help. Please, for the love of god.

typically you should be able to tell by opening the windows zero configuration (windows wireless configuration) and hold your mouse over the AP you're connected to
it should say "802.11 type" or similar, being either N, G, B, or A.
and knowing what the rest of your hardware is would definitely help

By core clock, I meant CPU speed.
your processor isn't weak enough to bottleneck the wifi card (i have this issue with a laptop)
are your WiFi drivers updated? can you connect to another AP and work perfectly fine? do any other wireless devices connected to the same AP experience this problem as well?

Ok, i'm going to sound incredibly stupid.

Tell me about AP because people keep mentioning it and it's something i'm not fond of.

My computer does this on all AP's.

then firstly ensure your WiFi card's drivers are up-to-date
check if certain older versions fix your problem
look for alternative drivers that also work for your card
use a different OS to see if it's just Windows
if the connection still gets interrupted, the WiFi card is broken and you will either have to buy a new one or claim warranty (if it was prebuilt)

Ugh, this is a pain in the ass.

I don't understand why i can't just have internet access without it being a complete hassle.

I also believe my previous laptop was doing the same thing before i got this brand loving new computer.
