Author Topic: girl on fire is a terrible song and alicia keys has an annoying voice  (Read 15873 times)

Crack Cocaine Blood on the Dance Floor is popular, so it must be good.

Usually if something is popular it means the people like it.

I listened to this song for the first time just now and it sounds like every other stuffty pop song sung by some cunt that thinks she has the best voice ever.

What's will all of this sudden hate towards Alicia Keys?
No one that sings thinks they have the best voice ever. Fans only like the person because they think that their voice is good.

There's nothing wrong with Alicia Keys, and just because some teenagers overdid everything doesn't mean she's a horrible singer.
At least she's doing what she wants to do and making money off of it lol.

...Or maybe I'm just too nice.

popularity =/= quality

Popularity can correlate with talent, but not always.

Lot's of people here hate pop rap, R&B, and dance

Alicia Keys is a pretty good singer, but the only songs I've heard from her make no loving sense.

At least generic singers like one direction or something actually have a clear meaning. Then again its usually better if it's not too clear but it actually means something. I kind of like Ed Sheeran in that department because the songs seem kind of cryptic at first but then they mean something. Like at first I didn't realize he was singing about a drug addicted prostitute but then I realized "flies in a pipe" and "breathing in the snowflakes."

No theyre just bandwagoning. Even if they truly hated her theres no need to rant to the extent that theyre ranting.

gangnam style and harlem shake are both popular as forget but neither are that good

gangnam style and harlem shake are both popular as forget but neither are that good

That's just your opinion. Obviously, the songs wouldn't be popular if no one liked them.

Some harlem shake dancing videos are pretty funny at first. Then they aren't. Also, Gangnam style eventually turned into a song I despised because people acted like it was the greatest thing ever and KEPT PLAYING IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER

People liking things does not nessesarily make them of good quality.

You don't have to he a good singer as long as you have feeling behind your singing. I mean look at Bob Dylan.

However these lyrics are pretty stupid.

People liking things does not nessesarily make them of good quality.

I said that before he did :c

People liking things does not nessesarily make them of good quality.

Why would someone like something that is of bad quality?
