Author Topic: Game crashes everytime a game loads  (Read 660 times)

I just bought the game and I am trying to play it, but it crashes every time the game loads. I choose to play tutorial but the process crashes after objects are loaded. My graphics drivers are updated, and my chip is a Intel HD Graphics Family video card. Any and all help is appreciated.

The log for the console and launcher are provided below.

Odd, I checked your console.log and I found nothing suspicious. Have you tried restarting your computer or anything like that? I hope you tried the demo to make sure it worked before you bought it. What is your operating system?

windows 7 64 bit
Worked on my brother's computer, which had the same os, but different videocard.

before you start the game, in the menu, click options. Can you tell me what settings the game is set to?

Driver Display: Opengl

resolution: 1280x720 (windowed or fullscreen doesn't change anything for me, tried both)

Bit depth: default

refresh rate: default

brick fx: best

texture: best

particles: high

shader quality: low

physics quality: high

It's beyond me as to what is wrong.

try setting shaders quality to"off", intel graphics work really badly with blockland's shaders.

Nothing, still crashes. I think I saw something odd in the launcher log, but i'm not sure if it means anything.

Please try updating your graphics drivers.

I have tried using the update tool to update the graphics card and it says it is up to date.

Used the online driver detection that the intel site provided, downloaded an update, game still doesn't run, here's the new log.

Go to your Blockland folder and delete the file called cache.db.

still crashes after loading objects

I have no idea what the launcher.log refers to but it says something about openGL and shutting down the opengl display device

That means that it it closing the launcher
and opening the blockland

Haha, didn't realize it meant that. But other than the console.logs I attached, I have no idea what the problem, maybe the game just isn't compatible with my graphics card?
