Author Topic: [WIP] CakeQ's Suite  (Read 1950 times)

Been building a suite for Coburn's lounge, and it will be displayed in the main area among others. Here is the front living room, including the kitchen.

Very modern and clean

I love it.

I'm speechless.

10/10

Yeah go ahead. Its unfinished, though.

9/10, it's all nice and pretty, well lit, but the couch and the potted plants don't look right in my opinion. The couch is up on stilts, and the plants don't seem organic (yes I know they're plastic cubes, doesn't mean they can't look good)

overall a very nice looking condo-setup

Actually I have to agree with this, the plants look odd and repetitive while the sofa looks plain and strange, and it's color doesn't make it look very modern.

Overall it's a great suite and I honestly can't build modern stuff, amazing work.

Did you just insult all of modern housing? :0

Did you just insult all of modern housing? :0
I still don't get why people call it modern. I mean I know it's modern, but that's how houses are built today, there's no sense into stating it's modern. There is sense if you state a house is from the old times.

Or did I get the wrong definition of modern housing?

Different building styles that are basically:

Rockage (who does that?)
Medieval
Pre-Modern
Modern
Future

The reason I coloured the seating that way was because I didn't want the whole room to be black and white. All in all I chose that design because it seemed to fit it my eyes, but if people continue to find it odd I will attempt to create another design. As for the plants I will look into creating better ones.

Oh that makes sense. There's more styles.
