Where can i get halo sound effects?

I never messed with the interface

Here's whats in the sounds thingy

Speakers/Headphones
Windows Sounds
FRAPS movies

Device - Speakers/Headphones (SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC)

[Sound menu]
Playback - Speakers/Headphones
Recording - Microphone, Rear Mic, Line In

Does that have anything to do with it?

Try creating a new audio track from the project menu. Does that fix it?

Why doesn't this work right on the Vista PC, but it does on the XP PC? Is that cause XP has more options in the volume mixer or something like that?

Can't be our sound card/driver cause it works fine, otherwise, i wouldn't be able to hear sounds and all in Blockland and other games

Have you tried this yet? It looks like you might have from the content of your posts, but I figured I'd link to it just in case.

Okay, problem, i went to Edit > Preferences > Recording dropdown menu, but there's nothing to choose from, and i got no Aux, CD audio, or Mono mix options, even if i show both the devices shown when right clicking a part of the sound menu....

I don't have a clue, its probably something to do with Vista though. You could try using an older version of Audacity.

"What U Hear" is a soundblaster specific term, I think. If you have a soundcard of another brand, it is most likely called something else, but sometimes that function doesn't exist at all.

When i save the halo sounds from that HMT (halo mapping tool) program, it comes out as a ADPCM Wave file, thats the name, its extension is a .wav, i searched for something that could convert it to a working .wav or something, they either didn't work for me, or had errors :(

Anyone? Please help me, its for the Halo weaponry mod i'm making :/
