Author Topic: My Dog Was Almost Mauled To Death  (Read 4927 times)

My dog is a big dog. He roams the neighborhood and has no collar. He hasn't had a leash on him in years.

Would you guys seriously stop blaming him/his dad for this? People don't expect 2 giant dogs to come attack theirs while it's taking a stuff. I agree that just keeping your dog on that type of leash is kind of lazy but really, just stop.

I hate those types of owners. If I see an owner like that I will shoot them in the neck.

Don't buy a dog if you're going to be lazy and not take care of it. "Oh I'll just throw this dog outside, he will do fine on his own." It's your dads fault this happened.
Jesus it was for a minute we have never had a problem before (that wasn't my fault, I am probably more careful than anyone now) my dad couldn't forsee this happening it was a mistake. my dad feels bad and realizes his mistake at least.

yeah no kidding. you dont have a fence, and your family just throws the dog out for an extended amount of time without being watched?

what if YOUR dog mauled some little kid who got to close to your property line. or say... gets attacked by other random pets in the area.

how is that anyone's fault but you and your dad?

my dog couldnt even hurt a little kid, and we do sort of have a fence. the problem is those crafty bastards make it in through the forest.

and i dont expect to get into a car accident. that dosnt mean i shouldnt pay any attention when i live day to day.

people lack responsibility.

It is the fault of the trespassers.

I mean both parties should act responsibly and no one should leave their dog unattended in an area where things could happen, but I believe that the people who go on someone else's property without permission are ultimately at fault.

he made a mistake and turned his back for a moment because he didnt feel the need to be all that careful. hes not irresponsible, he just made a mistake.

Bisjac, you're being seriously loving horrible to him for what's happening right now. Also, considering how small it sounds like his dog is, it probably couldn't hurt a toddler w/ parent.

You'd be surprised

my dog is not aggresive, he just likes to play a lot which can get annoying but whatever. Also hes basically a small poodle.

look bisjac my dad realizes his mistake you dont need to continue on about this.

It is the fault of the trespassers.

by that logic you are allowed to just leave out poison and spike traps installed on your driveway.

it dosnt work that way. the tresspass law dosnt even apply until you are warned anyways. (signs or verbal) and that still dosnt allow you to assault people.

Small dogs are weak and nice, what is this logic? My tiny dog that's near the size of a mini-poodle bites like a bitch and wants to fight every dog. Just because it's small doesn't mean it's not harmful.

I get that Kimon's dog is the playful type but if it wanted to it can rip a toddler apart.

well, one time I had this little dog, and it climbed under the fence and got ripped in half by a bigger dog. the owner of the bigger dog just gave me the dog back like, "okay, here's your dog."

i dont think you guys get that the dogs werent playing with my dog, they were trying to kill him. like straight out murder him for some reason.
