Aw, geez.
That really sucks, sorry.

Death is a part of life. Accepting it and moving forward is what you're loved one wants from you.

Become a stronger person and use his death as motivation to do things that would make him proud.

Ive lost 5 loved ones in my life so far; 2 doing life in jail and 3 past away. Didn't have the chance to say goodbye to any of them.. Hopefully what brings you pain will let you appreciate more of the things that bring you joy.

Your lucky you actually met your granddad, mine died 1 month before i was born.

my grandparents from my dad's side of the family died when I was young, my mom's side: my grandma's fine, but my granddad has high blood sugar levels and is having milkshakes every day, so when I went to texas last week it was probably the last time I'll see him.

dude, sorry for your loss. :c

I know how it feels l lost two in the same year

I want to thank you all for such kindness I have yet to see on this forum. It has been a very rough few days, the worst part being not knowing when it'll actually happen. He's still at the hospital, and had a very rough night last night, but is very peaceful and is resting very well right now. Odds are he will go in his sleep, sometime in the next 24 hours or so.

My grandma almost died while getting a heart transplant.

He passed away at 1:00 PM central. He went in his sleep, with as much honor and dignity as he lived.

As courageous in death as he was in life.

Thanks for putting it in better words.

Just remember your granddad rockin' it with Jesus up there, probably throwin' some sick parties.
