C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/common/Starbound/player

in there, you should see these encrypted files, look in them and find your name, if you see it then that's yours

back it up bro

Uhh, I doubt they've just decided to wipe characters because one week of non-stop fun is way too much and now they have to make you all sad. If they decide a reset is necessary, then there are gonna be issues if you try to run an outdated save file. If you can't learn to let go, stage 1 of the beta is not for you.
