i love the falling block physics in this game. they're so fun and satisfying and not nearly as deadly as in terraria

they're also a great way to get deep fast sometimes

it's kinda like a snowball effect
you mine one little block and suddenly a huge cave-in happens and you get a stuffload of ores easily

coal isn't hard to find and you only need a max of 100 ore per jump, just reminding

oh and i might be late but you can apparently use copper ore to repair any pick, so there's that

Yeah, it nice not being killed by a single block of sand.

Plus, i love mining on desert planets because ores just come out of the sand and funnel into me.

Also, has anyone found any planets with an abundance of Gold? Im trying to get the next few upgrades for my pick.

gamma sector deserts have large quantities of gold deep underground.
