ok so

I got this game yesterday and I assume you guys are 325789643984362 times more progressed than me, so help me out here

when I put down the distress beacon I assumed some dude would be like "uh hi you're p cool hop on and swag out my ship" and I didn't think the first boss would come that quick

I fought with an iron hunting bow, snow infantry armor, occasionally my two iron shortswords, and like 10 bandages
I managed to get him to 4 bars before I died

is there anything better than what I have that's of access to me without using the distress beacon because I'm having issues figuring that out

This does need to be vanilla, you should also be able to place ship decor parts like engines, and other things to make your ship pretty and look vanilla.

Also I was watching Omni stream himself coding some stuff for starbound, so was a bunch of other people. When the stream ended we all went on a server, built a bunker and messed around. Good times

It fixes diamonds and platinum ore not spawning naturally

It looks more like that mod just changes where platinum and diamonds spawn. They are actually spawning where they are supposed to be but the damage system made it harder to obtain them because they spawned on planets with mobs waaaay to strong

each world is different. on my first planet i found a good amount of gold ore once i dug down deep enough
