Well, I'll see if I can host. I have the ports forwarded its just if the server launcher works. If what FancyPants says is true:

in most cases it breaks your capabilities of server hosting
but for some people it's broken their launcher too, making it impossible play the game.
restarting, verifying integrity, reinstalling etc. does not fix it so it all lies on the devs.

Then I need to find another way.

EDIT: It works, but I don't know if the lag I'm getting is because it's a server or what. Anyways here's the ip: 173.30.234.247

Also this happened when I crafted the second weapon set.

Yeah, same here, except with a few trash weapon drops from Apex. One of the axes have 250+ dmg, yet it only does like 15.

I did it and it caused nothing. These people probably did something else to break their game. Running as admin gives me a slight FPS boost, I've noticed.

When they optimize the server program so it doesn't put my cpu/ram usage to 100%.

After the last(before the current one) update, I was unable to host without it completely ramping usage up and limiting my ability to do...anything.

I don't see the big deal? Everyone was told this might happen.

If anyone wishes to actually advance their characters, build massive bases, reach tier 10 and have every object in the game, you should wait until the release or stage 3

It's not actually a big deal, I just felt a bit sad that I just started and suddenly another reset. Anywho,

do i still have to carry the player folder to a new computer to play my characters in this update, because single player is lagging like hell and i think it might do better on a different computer

I hate the monsters now. They're a pain in the ass now that my bow only does 4 damage, while my sword is no better. Then I kept on getting killed as soon as I beamed down to my starting planet by some level four monster.

Early monsters only have like 20 health opposed to 100, so the wooden bow is scaled down appropriately .
