biome/kimono made my drill before i got the crafting recipe to make it

after making a new character, and getting to work on the first floor of my house, on the first god damn day starbound decides to be a jerk and make a meteor shower, particularly aimed right at my house, blowing it all to bits :(

This game runs at like, 60 FPS most of the times, but other times it slows down to like 10 FPS, even if i'm not in a dungeon or anything like that. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I already had a complete tier 10 character with top stat equipment on everything. Then i said forget it.
