I wish starbound was a good game. I wish it was enjoyable. I wish I didn't feel like I wasted my money.

I've been thinking of a way to present every issue I have with the game in a tactful and constructive manner, but deep down I know I'd get ignored or banned for it because the developers don't want to change their game. All they care about is making a quick buck and padding their game out with useless filler gameplay

my opinion on this whole thing is: the game has massive flaws and the developers aren't directing their efforts properly, but i can see that they are indeed actually working on making the game better.

like, the update they announced that'll make weapon power armor-dependent so your cool-ass gun that you found on a forest world doesn't become a pea shooter by the time you advance to frozen worlds, thats pretty cool.

i can understand some worries about things, but i can't help but feel you guys are overreacting a fair bit.

poor business practices and treating your customers like stuff if they "step out of line" by saying something that doesn't resonate with the echo chamber is a good reason to get upset.

can someone tell me what the entire thing is about apart from the devs not adressing some issues of the game

For me, it's how the developers have treated my friends and how they keep changing their game too much without getting rid of the actual problems. In it's current state, there's not enough fun content to justify buying it.

While I still hate the fact that the game has gone downhill completely, the one thing I feel like this game did for me that was good was be the inspiration for my character.

though it still sucks for your character to be inspired off a game that ended up like this :I

and thats probably a good idea, or atleast have it based off something you already know is a stable game.
