Author Topic: "No battery detected"  (Read 1946 times)

It begun today, like 10 minutes ago, A ballon poped up on my screen, saying that the batery was not detected.

My original laptop charger fried days ago, So i am using an APC adapter,

The original charger is 65w-ac or something, Until its fixing, I am using APC.

The first time i plugged the APC adapter, A black screen popped up that it was not the original charger blah blah blah press F1 to continue blah blah

Now, if i unplug the power cable, it turns off.

Help is apreciated, thanks.

Are you sure the voltage and blah blah blah of the cable you use is correct?
It could have destroyed the battery
No wait, in that case the laptop would have died too, so that can't be it

Maybe it's not poweful enough to fill the battery while running or your laptop is simply rejecting it?

Voltage - 19V, okay.
                   My DELL is rejecting APC charger.

buy a new battery

Sounds like what happens to my batteries and yes I do mean batteries, I burnt out 3 of them before I realized it the charger. I had to get a replacement charger and another new battery but I just have my laptop on a dock with no battery in it.

in the BIOS
press F2 when your computer is starting and look for "Battery Health"
if it says there's no battery or the battery is almost dead you should probably get a new one
