the default doors

that open without animation
I don't ever recall those

Regarding the discussions on the default style:
It is simply because I didn't enable any when I started, and thought it would look weird if add-on stuff appeared part way through.

since when was jvs made default?

that's not jvs, those are badspot's self-made default doors.

do you live under a rock? haha

Progress!
Now objects you can examine/activate blink:
(You can't tell in the screenshot, but it is blinking.)

/Bump because its finished! Go get it here!

This is only part one in the story. For the second part I was planning to use bots in some way but I am not sure if they should be for puzzles or combat or just story.

Update on Part 2!/bump
Poll said I should prioritise story for bots, but I will also add in puzzles involving them.

Also bots have been creating problems- they begin acting by themselves in a minigame, even after turning off Idle, Wander, etc.
The only way round this that I have found is to use the Default_Bot addon. If there is another way, tell me.
Also due to exams, this is gonna take a bit longer.

Set the bot's explore/wander radius to zero and turn off all idle actions.

It was a lot of fun! The blue key part was a bit tricky though...

Planning on doing a singleplayer map like this, but based much more on bots and combat.

Set the bot's explore/wander radius to zero and turn off all idle actions.
Yeah, I tried that, but for some reason once the bot had finished doing the scripted actions in a minigame it became spontaneous. I might need to look into it a bit more.

I remember this, i was there when you built it.

More Update! /bump

Note that he is holding a non-default weapon. This is so that it takes one shot to kill you (so you have to be stealthy and can't run past). The other way round this would be to keep player health low.

You never experienced the magic of scaling your bricks however you want them so they always fit, did you

And because we can't scale bricks anymore we have hundreds of different bricks so we always have one that has the lengh we need

this is probably old but i really want to respond to this
who in their right minds wants to loving scroll through a thousand useless bricks to find the singular brick they need while also basically prohibiting other people from using their build the way it was meant to be

NeeeCROOObbuuuMMMPPP
Sorry, but I think this is worth bumping.

I beta-tested this... Was pretty fun actually.
