Author Topic: Turtle Beach p11 headset forgeted up.  (Read 1534 times)

So here's what happened, I noticed the microphone rotation thing was incredibly slow on the left side of my headset. Then I noticed the left slide adjuster was jammed. So I unjammed the left slider with force. Now my loving right ear of the headset doesn't Emmit sound.

What do I do?

buy a new headset.

okay well i have p11s and have no idea what you are talking about

Headset slider adjuster got stuck. I unstuck it by force. Right ear no longer has sound coming out of it.

First question: Do you own a soldering iron?

if it's still under warranty, RMA it. did that with my z6a a few weeks ago. took 5 days from the time I shipped it to the time I got a replacement.

don't tell them you forgeted with it. just specify "OneSideBad"

I have to loving tear out the foam to unscrew it. Is that bad for my ears without the foam?

Most likely. If it is glued on try to cut it away from the glue so you can re-glue it afterwards.

However from images I'm seeing of them it looks like the cups have an elastic fit over the earpeice. You should just be able to pull them off with a bit of force and some creativity.

WQell I unscrewed everything and no loving loose or broken wires.

That's fairly odd. Maybe there is some oxidation in some of the wires. I wouldn't try going any further personally. Did you try both the USB and the brown townog inputs? If it still doesn't work I would just send them back.
