It doesn't have to show direct gameplay.  That'd be too literal.  It just has to show the feature points of the game, i.e. nanosuit, bow and arrow, aliens, etc.

there are gameplay trailers
better yet, you can download the beta yourself and play it (I think that's still an option?)
I doubt some non-gameplay trailers are going to ruin the game for you, or whatever your problem is

No, beta is closed.  It'd be a demo if it was still open, and demos are like nonexistent for big name titles.
