4:DDos is illegal. and I didn't know that at the time. okay
And sorry for the lag.
Just because you did not know it was not legal does not make it any less of a crime.

I didn't know what DDos was I. Just joining and seeing if I was urban yet but was not and I didn't know what it was I have no script to join like nuts injust hit the esc button and return a bit and it would act like a fast join thing and then when I was thinking I better stop. So then befor I was ban glass baned me for no reason and he baned me on a free build server that he was hosting for (spam) I was not spamming I was building a base on a build blat

There's a way to stop this which is like disabling ping, I think there's a port you can remove or something like that. At least the sonicwall router I have does this.

That starfish, slandering my name.
That'll really piss 'em off.

Des has autisum, no way he can do junk like this. If he is, KEEP HIM BAN!

Holy stuff I've known DES for quite a long time and I never thought he'd be capable of this.

Same.

I would recommend calling your ISP.

are you serious man

the thread just died

The punch packet (I believe this is the "UDP ping" that Blockland uses) is 6 bytes in and 6 bytes out; the punch packet is literally nothing.

The server authenticates BLIDs before checking the ban list, which is a design flaw in the game. The ID should be assumed correct and matched against the ban list so that simple "attacks" like this are not possible.

I believe Blockland blocks high-rate pings but rapidly joining doesn't trigger a very fast rate.

Try to block his IP with your router or computer if you can.

Man, I wish that Badspot would condone game modifications so you could post patches in modification discussion or something. This could be easily fixed for people wanting to try it most likely through easily two call addresses in the binary.

Allowing people to distribute limitless modifications of the game isn't exactly the best thing to do. What's needed is a unique, seperate, and serious place for game modifications to be requested.
