Hey guys.
I am looking in to getting some new headphones. I've used in-ear cbrown town ear buds all my life because of how cheap they are and how much better the sound it compared to headphones at the same price. But, in my small school of ~250 kids, Skullcandy has been on fire like Beats are with black people. I got to try them out because a couple of my friends have the Hesh 2.0 model, and they sound magnificent. I was really surprised how good the sound was compared to my current thought-to-be god tier Razer Morays (cbrown town ear buds).
I digress;
Are Skullcandy Hesh 2.0's a good deal? I've had personal experience with them and I can say that they are comfortable, they fit over you whole ear (those ones that sit on your ear are a loving joke), and they sound great. They are also a trend at my school so that's a bonus as well. I also like the design on the ones I chose, and no one else has that design as of yet.

TL;DR:

Good or not, post better ones for same or lower price.

SkullCandy headphones don't work too well.

I would suggest Philips Neckband Headphones

I have a pair of 10 dollar SkullCandys and they still havent broke despite the constant abuse they were in.

I thought that SkullCandys could break easily

I would say it depends on how you used them, but mine were almost constantly janked out my laptop since i got them so idk.

I don't really like Skullcandies and would personally go with something more professional such as Audio Technica, Senhieiser, or Koss.

and, please, can I post in a skullcandy headphone thread without being called out?

I don't even like the damn things.

wait for the real audiophiles to get here but skullcandy are trash
all about sennheiser, v moda, etc etc

Don't get skulls, you would just be buying the brand.  Spend on some quality ones.

I've used two pairs of SkullCandy earbuds, and they both broke pretty quickly, but sound quality wasn't too bad. I think. Not much of an audiophile.
