Should I get Windows 8 or stick with Windows 7?

I have a choice of getting Windows 8 or stick with Windows 7. Could someone give legitimate pros and cons about Windows 8 and not just the "hurr durr it sucks bczu no desktop" thing?

i thought everyone would've learned that there actually is a desktop in the pro version, lol

but yeah, in my personal opinion, it's worth it, but you should probably demo it for yourself at best buy or something so you can be sure if it's right for you or not

before anyone throws this bullstuff out there: yes it works perfectly fine with blockland, and yes, it works perfectly fine without a touch screen

Actually, yes if you are a gamer. It increases FPS a little in some of my games.
I can confirm this due to many other videos I have seen with Windows 7 and Windows 8 specs with same graphics,ram,ect.

The argument against the start menu shouldn't be a reason for not buying it, Windows 8 is a excellent operating system and the majority of the things such as "The start menu makes it horrible" is a onesided attempt at not being able to except change, In my personal opinion, You should consider getting it.
